Pikoko
A game with three-dimensional peacocks! A stick-and-bid card game for both seasoned board game enthusiasts and those who want to try something completely new.
Don't let the gorgeous peacock feathers distract you - you'll need all your wits, strategy and logic to win this fun and challenging card game. An innovative twist on classic poker - players don't see their own cards, but see the cards of other players. "Pikoko" forces players to change the traditional approach to card games. Thanks to the bidding mechanics, everyone has an equal chance of winning even when dealt bad cards.
What is stick picking? Stick taking is a popular card game mechanic. A stick is a consecutive play of one card by players. The winning player takes the cards and sets them aside. This is called picking up the stick.
The first card that is played in the game can be of any suit and with any number on it. All other cards that are played must match the suit of the card played, if possible. If the peacock to the left of the player does not have any card of the required color, then a card of any color can be played - trumps or cards of any other color. Any number can be on the card as long as the above conditions are met.
