Eridanos is a game with simple gameplay that anyone can get into, but players need to use their fleet wisely to gain control over islands of varying powers. The game has a luck factor because half the time you don't know who you're attacking and you could end up in trouble. However, by keeping track of what cards your opponent has left, you can tip your luck in your favor. Each round you fight to control a new island that gives you a special power. This can give you an advantage over your opponent. However, losing too many cards can leave you powerless for the next round, so you have to decide when to attack hard and when to back off to fight another day. A nerve-wracking game with fantastic art.
