Champions of Midgard

Champions of Midgard is a medium-difficulty, Viking-themed, dice-based worker placement game in which players take on the role of Viking clan leaders who have traveled to an armed Viking port city to help defend it against the threats and beasts of trolls, draughts, and other mythological Norsemen. . Defeating these epic creatures earns players fame and the favor of the gods. When the game ends, the player who has earned the most glory earns the title of Jarl and is recognized as the Champion of Midgard!

Deploying workers allows you to acquire resources and warriors, which players can then send on journeys to neighboring villages or across the sea to defeat monsters and gain the glory needed for victory. Resources are used to carve runes, build ships, and feed your followers. Viking warriors (order dice) battle the myriad enemies the city faces.
