The island of Atlantis, your home, is sinking. Will you be able to save your nation in time?

Atlantis Rising is a cooperative worker deployment game where you must work with up to five other players to deploy citizens across your homeland, gathering resources to build a space gate that can save your nation. Workers close to the shoreline are more rewarding, but more likely to be flooded and operations lost.

This edition features a brand new art and graphic design designed to bring even more attention to the game's thematic setting. The Athenian Assault phase has been replaced by the Wrath of the Gods phase, which requires more strategic planning and adds a sense of urgency. Now, instead of placing workers in the Atlantean Navy, players must collectively decide to flood a certain number of squares at the end of each round. To further aid them in their tasks, the powers of Counselor players have been expanded and made more effective, and the range of knowledge cards has been similarly revised and expanded. Once built, variable gate components no longer offer one-time bonuses, but instead create new worker deployment locations where players can send Atlantean workers to perform tasks to help save their island
