Anno 1800

Anno 1800 is a city-building strategy board game based on the popular PC game by Ubisoft. Players try to increase their industrial strength by building an island society at the beginning of the industrial age. Investing in their naval fleets allows for trade and expansion into new territories in the old and new worlds, but players must primarily focus on maintaining the health and happiness of their native and island populations. While the population is initially satisfied with food and clothing, over time this will change to valuable luxury goods. Players must carefully plan their development strategies and supply chains while keeping an eye on the distribution of specialized roles in their territory. The goal of the game is to plan an even distribution of farmers, workers, artisans, engineers and investors. But watch out because the competition never stops. Players can steal new achievements from each other at any time! Which island will prosper and which will fall?
