GORUS MAXIMUS
Gorus Maximus is a bloody stick fighting game in the gladiator arena! The game can be played player-versus-player or in teams.
Prepare your strongest gladiators and wildest beasts to earn the favor of the crowd! Match the rank of the last gladiator played and the trump changes immediately!
Players are dealt ten gladiator cards and must invest one gladiator in each fight (stick). A school (trump) is chosen and the strongest gladiator from that school wins the fight. If no preferred gladiator participates in the fight, then the strongest initiator wins. Players must follow the initiator's school if possible, or they can challenge it by matching the strength of the last gladiator they played and instantly changing their preferred school to their gladiator's school!
Players compete to collect gladiators with as much crowd favor as possible and avoid those with a negative crowd. The player with the most favor at the end of the round earns 1 crowd support. The first player to earn 3 crowd support is crowd supported and wins the title: Champion of Gorus Maximus!
