BONSAI
The Japanese term "bonsai" means "planted in a pot" as well as "bonsai".
A bonsai is a living work of art, a perfect miniature plant that is identical in every respect to its full-sized counterpart, but several times smaller.
In Bonsai, players take on the role of bonsai masters who want to grow their own garden.
Whoever grows the best plant will be appointed palace gardener in the Emperor's Bonsai Gardens.
On your turn, choose and take one of these two actions: Meditate or Cultivate.
If you choose to meditate, then take one of the face up cards on the table along with all the Bonsai squares that are represented under the card you drew.
If you choose to cultivate, you can place Bonsai plots from your inventory into your Bonsai garden. You can place as many squares as the total number of symbols displayed on your Seishi element. Each symbol will allow you to place one square of the corresponding type.
The game ends when the last card from the suit is revealed. Each plot of your bonsai has a point value.
In solo play, you can try additional scenarios that change some of the rules and objectives. The task is to defeat the Emperor himself.
