Brain Games Edgar recommends
As many of you already know, we are big game enthusiasts and each of our employees has their own taste when it comes to games. Some like long and complex strategy games, others like co-op, and still others like skill games. In any case, we share a great interest in everything related to board games and their culture, so some of our colleagues have agreed to tell us about the games that they find interesting and relevant at the moment.
The always smiling colleague Edgars, whose everyday life is often spent playing and testing games, has agreed to share his Top 3 games that he would recommend others to try.
To leave!
Catan
Catan is a world-renowned strategic board game for the family. Players gain resources to build their country's roads, villages and cities. This, in turn, accumulates points that bring you closer to victory. Catan has been on the Latvian market for 12 years and does not lose its popularity. It is a Top 30 board game in the world and one of the Top 5 Brain Games best selling board games.
Edgars: It's hard to say what exactly, but even after several hundreds of games, something draws me there. It's probably the emotion, the interaction of luck and strategy, the ease (it fell very well into the "up to an hour" category). Likes to change, chat and just watch what's going on.
PS Several expansions are available for this game, which make playing even more interesting and full of events.
Through the Ages
Through the Ages: A New Story of Civilization is a strategy board game. This game is the new version of the well-known strategy board game Through the Ages: A Story of Civilization. Through the Ages is a civilization building game where each player tries to create the best civilization through very careful resource management.
Edgars: I am excited about the depth of the game. There are a lot of different mechanics, things to do, every match unfolds a little differently, and you're constantly biting your fingers about which things to do because you can't do everything. I also really like long games and this one usually lasts 6 hours, although I have never felt the time spent, even with all the big downtime I find the game very exciting.
Doodle Rush
Doodle Rush is a brand new and extremely fun game! Everyone in winter - everyone min!
Edgars: If you like drawing games, this is a must have because it offers an interesting nuance - simultaneous guessing. Since both drawing and guessing are time limited, lots of funny drawings, funny guesses, and overall emotions ensue, so it's a lot of fun!
