Each player is the leader of a tribe in the Stone Age. Players send their tribe members to get various materials, food, build buildings and do other things that every tribe member had to do every day in the stone age.

Each player is given one family of Stone Age people. It consists of five little people who try to survive the lives of their era. They build houses, reproduce, hunt, cut trees, collect clay, pick stones and even find gold.
